Alipay coming to Pakistan IT Minister

Minister of Information and Technology Anusha Rehman revealed that AliPay will be operating in Pakistan soon. She announced this news while she was attending an event related to the projects of final year students at a university in Islamabad.

While speaking to the students she told about the importance of Internet and Information Technology in our daily life. She distributed prizes among the winners of the competition and revealed that Prime Minister of Pakistan has already signed MoU with AliBaba and looking forward to introduce AliPay which is another venture of AliBaba in Pakistan soon.

She also added that we are trying our best to bring Amazon and Paypal to the country but could not materialize on that end.

AliPay is a venture of AliBaba group which means that it will pave way for online payment platform in Pakistan. AliPay has a huge impact and users in China. It seems that Pak-China friendship will add more colors of friendship in the process of launching AliPay in the country for online payments.
